FAQs
Below are common asked questions.
-
What materials can you blow?
We're best when blowing dry, granular, clean, washed material with minimal fines: sand, pea gravel, crushed rock, and drain rock up to 2" in diameter.
If you squeeze it in your hand and it mostly falls out when you open, we can move it!
-
How much does it cost?
Roughly $350/hr and $3,000/day, able to place up to 150 yards/day.
As with most contracting, each job is unique. Our biggest price factors are distance to the job site from Tacoma, setup, complexity of placement, material volume and material composition. Send us an email and we'll be sure to contact & get a budget to you within 24 hours.
-
What areas do you service?
EnSenTech is based in Tacoma, but we service King County, Pierce County, Kittitas, Chelan, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, Kitsap, Mason, Jefferson, Grays Harbor, Thurston, Lewis, Cowlitz, Skamania and Clark County as well.
If a job is big enough, we will come to you!
-
What is the machine rate and distance?
We can move up to 22 yards per hour (roughly 30 tons per hour), reaching up to 600+ feet away and straight up 100+ feet. If we neck down to 4" pipe, we can do max 10 yards per hour. Distance, turns, larger rocks and moisture in material most reduce volume.
-
Can you do higher volumes or sizes?
At this time we only have one truck-mounted system for a 6" or 4" diameter hose. Should it be warranted, we could build units capable of utilizing up to 12" pipe/hose and hitting maybe 85 yards/hr or 120 tons/hr
-
How do we load your equipment?
Similar to a line pump, but dry, material needs to be loaded into our hopper. It's 82" high and can be loaded via slinger/CAD truck, loader or conveyor belt.
